Life in the Sonoran desert is varied and lush. It's a
thrill to share space with such a diverse selection of
nature's fellow animals.
javelina, bobcat, deer, fox, coyote, and quail are frequent
visitors, and birds of many species are constantly advertising
their presence.
In 2011, the National Geographic Television has chosen Crickethead Inn as location for filming the Sonoran Desert segment of their new series "Deserts of the Americas".
Now, in 2012 and 2013 we are hosting Altay Film from Berlin, Germany. During their extended stay here, they will make a film about Sahuaro National Park as part of a series on 8 American National Parks. Rooms are still available!
